Lindsay Smith






Education Coordinator

.
Lindsay is the Education Coordinator designing and implementing all school and community programs. She teaches a variety of nature-based programs to both public and private school children as well as adult groups. She also serves as our volunteer coordinator and service learning specialist. Lindsay was raised as a world traveler, but considers Annapolis, Maryland home. She possesses a B.S. in Park Management and Conservation from Kansas State University. Prior to joining the Conservancy she lived in Bivalve, New Jersey, and coordinated educational programs focusing on the rich history, culture, and environmental resources of the Delaware Bayshore region.




Patricia Thompson






Conservation Coordinator

.
Patty is the Conservation Coordinator overseeing ecological monitoring and other watershed conservation initiatives. In addition to watershed restoration projects, she heads our StreamWatch and BirdWatch programs, plays a key role in land conservation and easement monitoring, and is our garden coordinator. Patty grew up in Rochester, NY but has spent time in Syracuse, the Finger Lakes, and the Catskill regions of New York. She earned her B.S. in fisheries biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and will soon earn her M.S. in aquatic ecology from the same institution. Her science interests include GIS, water quality, habitat mapping, and ecosystem modeling. Her husband, Jerry Mead, shares her interests in aquatic ecology and is working locally to study the Delaware Watershed.





Lori Salganicoff






Historic Preservation Coordinator

.
Lori is the Historic Preservation Coordinator overseeing all aspects of the Conservancy's ongoing historic preservation program, including establishing and monitoring facade easements, working with a community committee to publish the annual Preservation Watch List of locally threatened historic properties, and producing the semi-annual Historic Preservation Lecture Series. She is a native of Bucks County and Philadelphia, PA, is a Certified Planner, and possesses an M.S. in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked for the National Park Service, city governments of Philadelphia and Wilmington, and several nonprofit organizations including Fairmount CDC and Rebuilding Together Philadelphia. As a private consultant Lori has provided preservation research and planning services to municipalities and universities as well as corporate and other clients.





Leo Judge






Office Manager

.
Leo joined our staff in October 2006 as our part-time Office Manager after a 45-year career at TV Guide, where he served in a variety of positions including data processing manager and director of production services. Living in this area his entire life, Leo is a graduate of Villanova and an Army Reserve retiree. He enjoys the outdoors and has three children and four grandchildren. Leo and his wife Joan currently live in Havertown.




Maurine D. McGeehan






Development Coordinator

.
Maurine D. McGeehan is our first Development Coordinator, a new position added in May 2008, and will be coordinating our membership and fundraising efforts. She comes to us after a decade of similar work for the Nature Conservancy and the Clean Air Council. With a degree in conservation biology, Maurine is a Narberth resident, where she maintains several beehives, and owns a rare book business with her husband.
