Lindsay is the Education Coordinator designing and implementing all school and community programs. She teaches a variety of nature-based programs to both public and private school children as well as adult groups. She also serves as our volunteer coordinator and service learning specialist. Lindsay was raised as a world traveler, but considers Annapolis, Maryland home. She possesses a B.S. in Park Management and Conservation from Kansas State University. Prior to joining the Conservancy she lived in Bivalve, New Jersey, and coordinated educational programs focusing on the rich history, culture, and environmental resources of the Delaware Bayshore region.

Patty is the Conservation Coordinator overseeing ecological monitoring and other watershed conservation initiatives. In addition to watershed restoration projects, she heads our StreamWatch and BirdWatch programs, plays a key role in land conservation and easement monitoring, and is our garden coordinator. Patty grew up in Rochester, NY but has spent time in Syracuse, the Finger Lakes, and the Catskill regions of New York. She earned her B.S. in fisheries biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and will soon earn her M.S. in aquatic ecology from the same institution. Her science interests include GIS, water quality, habitat mapping, and ecosystem modeling. Her husband, Jerry Mead, shares her interests in aquatic ecology and is working locally to study the Delaware Watershed.

She is a native of Bucks County and Philadelphia, PA, is a Certified Planner, and possesses an M.S. in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked for the National Park Service, city governments of Philadelphia and Wilmington, and several nonprofit organizations including Fairmount CDC and Rebuilding Together Philadelphia.
