Directions If you have any questions about directions to any of the sites you see here, please call the Conservancy at 610-645-9030 For driving directions, click on the location below to be taken to a specific map created by MapQuest! Rolling Hill Park, Gladwyne, PA. From the Blue Route (I-476) Northbound: Exit the Blue Route at Exit 13, toward Villanova, and make a right onto Lancaster Avenue (Route 30). Get in the left lane. After less than a mile, turn left on Rt. 320, Spring Mill Road. Continue for approximately 3 miles. Make a right onto Rt. 23 (Conshohocken State Rd. – it’s a large intersection with a traffic light). At the second traffic light (just past the Gladwyne Fire Department), turn left onto Youngsford Road then bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From the Blue Route (I-476) Southbound: Exit the Blue Route at Exit 6 toward Conshohocken. Watch the signs carefully. Stay to the extreme right and follow the signs for Conshohocken and Rt. 23 East. Turn right off the ramp, stay straight for approximately 1 mile. The road ends on Rt. 23 – turn right and follow the road left after the McDonalds. The 1st traffic light in Lower Merion is at the Four Falls Corporate Center. At the 4th traffic light, make a left onto Youngsford Road then bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From Philadelphia: Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) West to the Gladwyne Exit, Route 23 (first exit west of Manayunk). After exiting, turn right onto Hollow Road. Follow the road under the train tracks. The road turns left and becomes River Rd. Just after the Flat Rock Park boat ramp, take the first left onto Mill Creek Road (you will go back under the train tracks and the Expressway). Then, make the first right onto Rose Glen Road. Rolling Hill Park is around the bend on the left - look for the back of a large wooden sign on your left and the Conservancy’s green mailbox. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From Manayunk: Take Green Lane to the bridge over the Schuylkill River, which becomes Belmont Avenue. Pass the Wawa market, and turn right at the light onto Rock Hill Road. Proceed uphill to second Wawa, turn right onto Conshohocken State Road (Route 23). Proceed to first light (log cabin on left), turn right again; you will still be on Conshohocken State Road (Route 23). Proceed several miles through residential neighborhoods. You’ll come to a stop sign on Route 23. Proceed straight through, but carefully - it’s a dangerous intersection. As the area becomes steep and wooded, Conshohocken State Road turns right again, at a traffic light. Arrows should tell you to turn right onto Route 23. Head up the hill into the center of Gladwyne village. At the first traffic light make a right onto Youngsford Road then bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From Bala Cynwyd & Penn Valley: Take Conshohocken State Rd. (following all turns for Rt. 23 West) into the center of Gladwyne. Turn right onto Youngsford Rd. Bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From Ardmore & Haverford: From Montgomery Avenue turn onto Mill Creek Rd. (near Main Line YMCA). Continue on Mill Creek Rd. to T-Intersection (traffic light). Make left onto Old Gulph Rd. Stay on Old Gulph for 1 mile (becomes Youngsford) into center of Gladwyne. At the traffic light, cross Conshohocken State Rd., then bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. From Bryn Mawr & Villanova: Take Spring Mill Rd. North to Conshohocken State Rd. (Rt. 23). Turn right (east) and go approximately 3 miles. At second traffic light, turn left onto Youngsford Rd. (just past the Gladwyne Fire Department). Bear right at fork onto Rose Glen Rd. Follow Rose Glen around first bend. The entrance to Rolling Hill Park is on the right, marked by a large wooden sign. Follow the directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s cottage below. Directions to the Lower Merion Conservancy’s Cottage from Parking Lot: Follow the park driveway up and around; park in the parking lot to your left. With your back to the traffic circle, walk out of the “back” of the parking lot and follow the trail to the left. Turn right down gravel driveway and look for yellow cottage at end of driveway.
