Environmental House Calls

Being a streamside homeowner is not easy. Perhaps you have questions regarding the health of your creek or pond and want to know how you can improve your stewardship of this important resource. We are here to help. Our staff can answer questions about your section of stream, and offer suggestions on how you can improve conditions on your property. While we can’t always control what happens upstream, we can make a huge difference for ourselves and our downstream neighbors. Our specially trained staff ecologist can visit your property at no cost through our Environmental House Calls program. We can answer questions about:

•Managing stormwater
•Landscaping for wildlife
•Restoring natural streams and banks
•Improving wet areas
•Finding local native plant nurseries, ecological landscapers, designers and construction firms

To schedule a visit at your home contact the Conservancy’s Conservation Coordinator, Patty Thompson, at 610-645-9030 or by email at patty@dragonfly.org.
