Explorer's Club After-School Adventures The Lower Merion Conservancy and Education Coordinator Lindsay Smith invites kids grades Kindergarten to 3rd to explore nature and the great outdoors during fun-filled five-week after-school sessions. Youngsters stretch their legs and unwind in a relaxed outdoor setting, playing games, romping through creeks, creating rock sculptures, searching for gems hidden in stones, finding funky fungus, and soaking up the afternoon sun. Crafts, snacks and stories round out the fun. Dates: Mondays, May 12 through June 16 (no class May 26), 2008 Time: 3:45-5:00 p.m. Place: Rolling Hill Park, 1301 Rose Glen Road, Gladwyne, PA 19035 Each 90-minute session includes a hike, craft, story and snack. Children with special dietary needs are encouraged to bring their own snacks. Everyone should come prepared for outdoor play, with close-toed shoes and long pants. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration is $50/child For more information about the Explorer's Club call Lindsay Smith at 610-645-9030 or email programs@dragonfly.org Parents - check out our spring 2008 Parent and Preschool program for kids ages 3-5 and their parents here!
